The policies below have all been edited to show the current services we provide. Many of our services have been put on hold as we have had to adjust to meet the most pressing needs in our community in a way that helps to stop the spread of COVID-19. We hope to add back former services in the months to come. In the meantime, all of our services must first be requested digitally using the links below.
Crisis Food PAntryCrosslines serves an average of 220 families each month through the Emergency Food Pantry. The pantry is typically a Client Choice Pantry set up like a grocery store in which clients are empowered to choose the foods to best fit their family's needs. However, during the COVID-19 crisis we are going to be distributing food in prepackaged pantry boxes. You will need to schedule your pantry pickup 24 hours in advance of pickup using the link above. The Pantry provides a wide variety of foods in order to help fulfill client nutritional needs and keep families strong. The pantry is stocked with items purchased from Ozark's Food Harvest, donated items, and produce from the Crosslines garden and greenhouse. It is an empowering service for families in crisis.

Crosslines administrates the Rental Assistance Program for the Regional Health and Welfare Association. Previously we have also offered utility assistance. However, as of 3/19/20 the decision has been made to with to rental only, due to lack of funds available. This policy change will be re-visited in May of 2020.
Established in the 1920s, the Regional Health and Welfare Association is a United Way of Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas agency. The assistance allows Crosslines to fill the need for a community safety-net to families or individuals in crisis. In order to apply for rental assistance you will need to apply at the application link above. All rental assistance requests can take up to one week to process and it takes 10-12 days for landlords to receive payment once assistance is pledged. Anyone needing utility assistance should make sure to apply with Economic Security. USDA FoodsCrosslines Ministries is the only distributor of USDA Foods in the western side of Jasper County, serving about 750 families every month. Currently, Crosslines clients can schedule pickup of their USDA foods using the online order link. You can pick this on M, W or Fri, but we ask you to please schedule pickup for your normal scheduled week.
